South Florida structural engineering
Additions and repairs, engineered to match and to pass review.
A historic Florida home, with good bones and room to grow.
Who we are
Engineering that
carries a seal.
Airavata Engineering is a Florida structural engineering practice for residential and light-commercial permit work. We turn measured field conditions into calculation packages and permit-ready drawings, reviewed and sealed by our Engineer of Record, Tex Sukhdeo, P.E.
Every number is computed to the Florida Building Code and ASCE 7-22, every product is checked against a live approval, and nothing leaves the office until it is sealed. One licensed engineer, accountable for the whole package.
About the firm →What we engineer
Permit packages, built to pass review.
How we work
Verified, conservative, sealed.
One Engineer of Record
Every deliverable is reviewed and sealed by Tex Sukhdeo, P.E. (Florida #98870). The seal is never delegated or automated.
Verified, never assumed
Wind speeds, flood zones, and product approvals are confirmed against primary sources for each project. Missing information is flagged, not guessed.
Draft until sealed
Nothing is presented as final until it carries the engineer's seal. Every assumption is conservative and listed on the report.
Code-current
Work follows the Florida Building Code 2023 and ASCE 7-22 wind provisions in force for the project's jurisdiction.
